There are not enough words to explain how nice
Manu Villas & Spa is to visit. It is completely
remote, but situated in a beautiful setting with
wonderful hosts. The entire grounds are in the
upper levels of a rainforest near Dominical, and
the villas are appointed with the some of the
finest fixtures and furniture one can want for a
vacation. The owners are wonderful to the guests,
and the food and service is over the top. If you
want relaxation and a place to experience
tranquility, I highly advise considering Manu.
Located only a short drive from Dominical, there
are plenty of outdoors activities, dining, and
even an interesting bar scene to check out if you
have had enough tranquility. If you enjoy the
"activity" scenes, you are not so far that you
cannot get to it. 5 stars!Our family of five (three teenage daughters) stayed at the Pavillion for six nights and we wished for more. The villa and surrounding area is just as described on their website. It was islolated enough so that we received the full jungle "feel", yet the accomodations are five star in every sense. Every morning we awoke to many toucans calling in the trees. You are minutes from surfing, snorkeling, hiking (the villas on the mountain have many trails) - well you name it. We saw all the animals we had hoped to observe. Grace is an excellent cook and we would highly recommend having her cook for you. Get to know Grace and Alex for they are very interesting. I would highly recommend a 4x4 vehicle. The tiny towns in the area, Dominical for example, have good places to eat, a grocery store, and lots of "surfer dudes". Our family was in bed by 7:30 every evening because it was so peaceful, and that is something for teenagers. We would love to return to Manu Villas
